From a royal princess crown to a hilarious chicken head hat, the possibilities are endless - simply using the materials you already have at home. Gather some decorations and ribbons, and let's enter the wonderful world of Easter hat-making.

DIY Easter egg nest hat
Your kids will simply love creating this DIY Easter Egg Nest Hat. Join them as you follow this simple yet effective video tutorial. Hop to it.
Materials needed
Felt hat, coloured foam sheets, egg decorations, paint, shredded tissue, hot glue gun, glue sticks, scissors.
How to make the perfect Easter egg nest hat
Step 1 of 5
Cut foam grass in different colours and sizes.
Step 2 of 5
Glue hessian bands around the felt hat. Glue larger foam grass to bands, then add the smaller foam grass on top.
Step 3 of 5
Paint and decorate the eggs from the craft box.

Apply some glue to the top of the hat and add some shredded paper. Attach the decorated eggs on top of the shredded paper.

Take a strip of hessian ribbon and glue on making a basket handle. Stick down the decorations to suit around the hat.

Select your bonnet and weave the egg lollipops sticks through the side of the hat and arrange into a bouquet.

Measure and wrap the ribbons around the the bonnet and glue onto the crown and brim.

Hop into a magical kingdom of Easter bunnies and brightly coloured eggs with this hare-raisingly perfect rabbit hat. The adorable rabbit ears on this felt hat will make your child feel like they’re the Easter bunny himself!
Materials needed:
Felt hat, scissor, cardboard, glue, ribbon, Easter decorations, fluffy chickens and scrap cardboard.
How to make the perfect Easter rabbit hat
Step 1 of 5
First, glue the rabbit ear template onto scrap cardboard, and cut it out.
Step 2 of 5
Draw the inner ear shape onto another piece of scrap cardboard and paste it with glue onto the larger rabbit ears.
Step 3 of 5
Glue the ears to the front of the felt hat and wrap a ribbon around the hat, securing it with a staple or glue.

Glue Easter hanging decorations and flower cutouts to the side of the hat and hat band.

Easter egg crown
Are you ready for a royal tour through the kingdom of Easter eggs The Easter egg crown will transport your little one to a place where they reign supreme over their colourful kingdom.
Materials needed:
Felt hat, scissors, glue, decorative eggs, fluffy chickens, ribbon, coloured paper.
How to make the Easter egg crown
Step 1 of 5
First, draw a line around a felt hat, about 1 cm above the brim, and cut the top of the hat off along the line.
Step 2 of 5
Cut the ribbons on decorative hanging Easter eggs to create two equal pieces of ribbon attached to the eggs.
Step 3 of 5
Using a thick sharp needle, make a hole through the lip of the hat where the brim starts. Thread one end of the ribbon through the hole and tie an egg using a firm knot. Continue around the hat, tying eggs in pairs or groups. Alternatively, glue the eggs in place.
Step 4 of 5
Glue fluffy chickens in the gaps between the eggs. Tie a bow with ribbon, with two long tails, and staple or glue it to the back of the hat.

Finally, drape the shredded paper around the crown to complete your enchanted journey.

Lay the crown from the Foam DIY Crown Kit flat and start decorating from the centre front. Arrange foam Easter stickers on the crown and stick them down when you’re happy with the design.

Arrange foam Easter stickers on the crown and stick them down when you’re happy with the design. Cut flowers from the shapes and, using double-sided tape from the crown kit, stick them in gaps between the foam stickers (you could also use glue).

Glue, scissors, blue Easter felt hat, Easter ribbon, Easter shreds, foam from craft box, foam fence palings from craft box, Easter mini carrots and mini moss bunnies.
How to make the Easter carrot top hat

Attach an Easter ribbon to the base of the hat. Then attach the hessian ribbon to the top of the hat.

Glue the shredded paper to the top of the hat and cut out a picket-style fence from the foam sheets found in the craft tub. Attach the fence around the top of the hat by glueing it to the hessian ribbon.
Step 3 of 3
Create a little gate using the pre-cut pieces from the craft tub. Attach the gate to the front of the hat using glue. Glue carrots to the shredded paper on the top of the hat. Glue a bunny and some carrots to the front rim of the hat.
