Games to play with your Disney Worlds of Wonder cards
It’s time for some fun. Try these games with your Disney Worlds of Wonder cards
Getting friends or family members together for a lively game night is a wonderful way to have some fun, guarantee plenty of giggles and make memories – all while keeping things on budget.
Once you’ve started collecting your Disney Worlds of Wonder cards, there are plenty of games to play. Here are a few of our favourites, but there are plenty more adventures available than what we’ve listed here. The only limit is your imagination, so see what you can come up with.
01
Trivia
Roll up, roll up! It’s time for a family trivia night to test just how much everyone has been paying attention to their favourite Disney, Pixar, Marvel and Star Wars films. In your Disney Worlds of Wonder collectors case, you’ll find 36 trivia questions with the answers available on the back of your Worlds of Wonder cards or the back page of the case.
Once you’ve slipped into your most comfortable pyjamas and pulled together a Disney-inspired movie night snack board, it’s time to play. Split into two teams and decide which team will answer the even numbered questions and which team will answer the odd ones. (A quick game of scissors, paper, rock can do the trick if you can’t decide!) Now take turns working your way through the questions; the team with the highest score wins. The prize? To get to pick which film you’ll watch tonight!
02
Match
When collecting the Disney Worlds of Wonder cards, it’s likely you’ll come across doubles. A game of Match is the perfect solution to making the most of those extra cards. Make sure you have an even amount of doubles; for a two-player game, we’d recommend a minimum of 12 cards: six pairs. Shuffle the cards and divide evenly. Each player should hold their deck making sure the other player can’t see their deck. To make things first, the youngest player can go first. Take turns placing down a card. When there is a match, the first person to place their hand on the deck wins. The person with the most cards at the end of the game wins. The more cards, the longer the game! Play on!
03
Who Am I?
Who doesn’t love a little bit of silliness? With this game, you might identify a future Disney or Marvel star in the family. To play Who Am I, shuffle your Disney Worlds of Wonder cards and place them in a pile with the faces down. The first player then picks a card, without looking at it, and holds it to their head. The player must then ask a series of yes or no questions to guess which character they are. When the player correctly guesses their character, they win a point.
In a similar theme, you could play charades with your cards, too! Have each player pick a card, and try to mime, act, or impersonate that character. (You might end up with a stage in your living room!) You’re bound to end up in fits of giggles seeing your loved ones do their best impression of Olaf or Nemo.
For those who enjoy doing craft, try making headbands for the family to hold your cards for a bit of extra fun. Start by cutting strips of cardboard to fit around your head, then slice a small slit big enough to hold your card. A quick staple will secure the headband.
