Selleys All clear is a high grade sealant that is quick and easy to apply giving a clear finish.
Ideal for interior/exterior applications on most building surfaces including:
- Window frames and glazing.
- Roofs and guttering.
- On stone and brick.
- Cement and timber.
- Shower screens.
- Sinks and basins.
- Many Plastics**.
This multipurpose sealant works on ...
- Wet surfaces*.
- Has a crystal clear finish.
- Is mould and mildew resistant.
- Is for interior and exterior use.
- Is paintable (see directions)
1. Use in a well ventilated area. Avoid contact with skin and eyes. Surface must be clean and dry. If required, clean with turps.
2. Pierce seal with reverse end of cap.
3. Attach nozzle to tube and cut to size at 45A.
4. Apply firmly into joint or onto surface by pushing sealant ahead of nozzle.
5. Smooth sealant surface immediately with tool dipped in turps.
*Wet Surfaces: Can be applied to clean wet non-porous surfaces e.g. metals, glass, glazed tiles - not wet porous surfaces e.g. concrete, timber. Remove as much as water as possible, preferably with acetone. Keep close to surface so sealant contacts surface immediately. Flatten immediately into joints. Adhesion improves on drying.
Drying time: Skins immediately, maximum toughness achieved over several days.
Overpainting: Paintable immediately with water-based paint. For oil-based paints, undercoat first with a water-based paint.
Clean up: Turps. Remove dried sealant from skin by gently rubbing with petroleum jelly.
Notes: **May damage some plastics e.g. Polystyrene, Polycarbonate. Not for permanent water immersion e.g. fish tanks. When cold, store at room temperature, for easier use.
