  • 325grams basil & pine nut pesto tortellini
  • 32 basil leaves
  • 2 punnet Sweet Solanato® tomatoes
  • 32 Woolworths cherry bocconcini, drained
  • 1/3 cup balsamic glaze, to drizzle

Description

A skewer becomes a piece of art with these finger favourites, turning tomatoes, basil and bocconcini into a flavour sensation.

Method

Step 1 of 3

Cook pasta in a large saucepan of boiling water for 2 minutes or until pasta floats to the surface. Drain. Cool slightly.

Step 2 of 3

To make each skewer, thread one end of a basil leaf, then a tomato, then the other end of the basil leaf to partially enclose the tomato onto a small skewer. Then thread a tortellini and a bocconcini onto the skewer. Repeat to make 32 skewers in total.

Step 3 of 3

Arrange skewers on a serving board. Drizzle with balsamic glaze. Serve.
