  • 2 tomatoes, sliced
  • 2 brown onions, thinly sliced
  • 250grams middle bacon rashers, cut into thirds
  • 60grams baby rocket
  • 8 slice white toast bread, toasted
  • 600grams frozen chips, cooked (to serve)
  • 385grams sizzle steaks
  • 1tablespoons olive oil
  • 4 slice tasty cheese
  • 225grams can sliced beetroot, drained

Method

Step 1 of 3

Heat oil and butter in a medium frying pan over medium heat. Add onion and cook, stirring occasionally, for 15 minutes or until caramelised. Transfer to a bowl. Cover to keep warm.

Step 2 of 3

Meanwhile, heat the same pan over medium heat. Cook bacon, in batches, for 3 minutes each side until golden. Transfer to a plate and keep warm. Cook steaks for 2 minutes. Turn, top with a slice of cheese and cook for a further 2 minutes.

Step 3 of 3

To serve, top 4 slices of toast with rocket, beetroot, tomato, cheesy steaks, bacon and onion. Finish with a slice of toast. Serve with oven fries.
