  • 3tablespoons sesame oil
  • 1 medium white onion, finely diced
  • 3 cloves garlic, peeled and mashed
  • 4 eggs, free range
  • 150grams mushrooms, washed and sliced
  • 300grams rice, cooked as per packet instructions
  • 3tablespoons soy sauce

Description

This fried rice has smoky and salty flavours with simple ingredients.

Method

Step 1 of 5

Heat up a large saucepan or wok to a medium heat and add 1 tablespoon of sesame oil.

Step 2 of 5

Crack the eggs and fry for 4 minutes until cooked and then remove from the pan and set aside.

Step 3 of 5

Add the rest of the oil to the pan and fry the onions, garlic and mushrooms for 4 minutes while tossing.

Step 4 of 5

Cook the rice as per packet instructions and drain fully.

Step 5 of 5

Add all ingredients to the pan and chop up the egg and combine everything while cooking together for 4 minute before serving.
