  • 1tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
  • 2 brown onions, thinly sliced into rings
  • 400grams Woolworths COOK baby potatoes with butter & herb
  • 600grams Woolworths COOK peppered beef steaks
  • 270grams Woolworths Greek salad kit
  • 2tablespoons tomato relish (to serve)

Description

Cook a pub-worthy beef pepper steak complete with sweet caramelised onion and a crisp Greek salad with tender potatoes in just 20 minutes.

Method

Step 1 of 4

Heat oil in a medium frying pan over medium heat. Add onion and cook, covered, for 10 minutes, stirring occasionally, or until onion has softened. Uncover and cook for a further 5 minutes, stirring occasionally, or until onion has caramelised.

Step 2 of 4

Meanwhile, microwave potatoes according to packet instructions.

Step 3 of 4

Heat a greased chargrill pan over medium-high heat. Cook steaks for 3 minutes on each side for medium or until cooked to your liking. Transfer to a plate and cover loosely with foil to rest for 5 minutes.

Step 4 of 4

Prepare salad according to packet instructions. Thickly slice potatoes and toss through salad. Place steaks on plates and top with caramelised onion. Divide salad among plates and serve with relish.
