Description

Make these beef patties ahead of time and keep them in the freezer, or cook them up in minutes and build your cheesy burgers for the perfect easy dinner idea.

Method

Step 1 of 4

Place mince, onion, cheese and egg in a bowl. Season. Mix together using clean hands. Press beef mixture over the base of 2.2L glass container lined with baking paper. Evenly divide and score mixture into 8 portions. Cover with lid and freeze for up to 3 months.

Step 2 of 4

When needed, transfer four frozen portions to a clean glass container and thaw in fridge overnight. Return remaining portions to freezer until needed.

Step 3 of 4

Shape portions into patties. Heat a greased barbecue grill or chargrill pan over medium-high heat. Cook patties for 5 minutes on each side or until cooked through.

Step 4 of 4

Top roll bases with lettuce, tomato, patties, mustard and tomato sauce. Sandwich with roll tops and serve with fries.
