  • 2 cloves garlic, crushed
  • 3centimeters piece of ginger, peeled, finely grated
  • 400grams Plant-based v2 mince®
  • 2tablespoons salt-reduced soy sauce
  • 2tablespoons sweet chilli sauce
  • 2 small carrots, grated
  • 1 1/2 pkts little gem lettuce, leaves separated
  • 1 long red chilli, thinly sliced
  • 1/2 cup unsalted roasted peanuts, chopped
  • 1/4 bunch coriander, leaves picked

Description

Add Plant-based v2 mince to this classic Chinese starter for a dynamic experience that will trick your tastebuds.

Method

Step 1 of 3

Heat oil in a large non-stick frying pan over medium-high heat. Add garlic and ginger. Cook, stirring, for 30 seconds or until fragrant.

Step 2 of 3

Add v2 mince® and cook, stirring to break up lumps, for 3 minutes. Add soy sauce and sweet chilli sauce. Cook, stirring, for 2 minutes or until browned. Add carrot. Cook, stirring, for 2 minutes or until the carrot is tender. Remove from heat.

Step 3 of 3

Arrange lettuce leaves on a serving platter. Top with v2 mince® mixture, chilli and peanuts. Serve sprinkled with coriander.
