- 1/4 cup sour cream
- 1 pear (extra)
- 2 pears, finely diced
- 50grams blue cheese, crumbled
- 2/3 cup buttermilk
- 2 eggs
- 1 bunch chives, snipped
- 2tablespoons vegetable oil

Method
Step 1 of 2
Whisk together the flour, eggs and buttermilk in a large bowl. Stir in pear, cheese and most of chives, reserving some for garnish. Combine well.
Step 2 of 2
Heat half of the oil in a large non-stick frying pan over medium heat. In batches, drop large spoonfuls of the mixture into the pan and cook for 2 minutes each side or until golden brown and cooked through, adding the remaining oil as necessary. Top fritters with a little sour cream, pear and chives to serve.
