  • 1 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 125grams cabanossi, thinly sliced
  • 1tablespoons baking powder
  • 4 cup plain flour
  • 2/3 cup napoletana pasta sauce
  • 1/3 cup olive oil
  • 2teaspoons salt

Method

Step 1 of 6

Sift flour, baking powder and salt into a bowl. Make a well in the centre and pour in 1 1/2 cups of water and the oil. Mix to form a soft elastic dough. Turn onto a lightly floured surface and knead until smooth.

Step 2 of 6

Preheat oven to 250°C.

Step 3 of 6

Arrange toppings in bowls.

Step 4 of 6

Divide dough into 8 even pieces and roll or press out to make 15cm circles, leaving the edge a little thicker. Put onto greased baking trays.

Spread each pizza base with some of the sauce and add toppings.

Step 6 of 6

Bake for 10-15 minutes until golden.
