- 1tablespoons currants
- 2tablespoons flat-leaf parsley, chopped
- 1/2 zucchini, roughly grated
- 1teaspoons lime juice
- 1/4teaspoons ground coriander
- 1teaspoons ground cumin
- 400grams can chickpeas, drained, rinsed
- 1tablespoons hulled tahini
- 750grams lean lamb mince
- olive oil (to fry)
- 1 garlic clove, crushed
- 1/3 cup fresh breadcrumbs
- 2 lebanese cucumber, cut into sticks
- 2 small carrot, cut into sticks
- 2/3 cup hummus (to serve)

Method
Step 1 of 3
In a large bowl, stir together mince, garlic, 1/2 tsp of cumin, coriander, currants, zucchini, breadcrumbs and parsley. Roll into 30 walnut-sized balls and place on a tray. Chill for 10 minutes.
Step 2 of 3
Meanwhile, process chickpeas with tahini, remaining 1/2 tsp of cumin, lime juice and 1/3 cup water in a food processor until smooth.
Step 3 of 3
Heat oil in a frying pan over medium-low heat. Cook koftas in batches, turning, for 8 minutes or until golden and cooked through. Serve with vegetable sticks and hummus.
