  • 400grams chicken breast fillets
  • 1tablespoons kecap manis
  • 4 cm piece ginger, peeled, finely grated
  • 1tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 1teaspoons sesame oil
  • 350grams golden citrus slaw kit
  • 1 long red chilli, deseeded, thinly sliced into strips

Method

Step 1 of 3

Halve each chicken breast horizontally to form 2 thin fillets. Combine kecap manis, ginger and oils in a bowl. Add chicken and turn to coat, then season.

Step 2 of 3

Heat greased barbecue grill or chargrill pan on medium-high heat. Cook chicken for 3 minutes on each side or until cooked through. Transfer to a board. Stand for 5 minutes before slicing.

Step 3 of 3

Meanwhile, place slaw, reserving dressing and fruit mix, in a dish. Top with chicken and chilli, drizzle with reserved dressing and sprinkle over reserved fruit mix, then serve.
