Description
For the ultimate midweek dinner, try this garlicky chicken Kiev with cheesy sauce. Served with a crunchy salad, it's sure to become a family favourite.
Method
Step 1 of 2
Cook chicken in oven according to packet instructions. Meanwhile, melt butter in a saucepan over medium-high heat. Add flour and cook, stirring, for 1 minute or until bubbling. Gradually stir in milk and bring to the boil. Boil for 1 minute or until mixture has thickened. Gradually add cheddar, 1/4 cup at a time, stirring after each addition until smooth.
Step 2 of 2
Thickly slice chicken and place on a platter. Scatter over chives. Serve with cheese sauce sprinkled with paprika, and salad, prepared according to packet instructions.
