  • 500grams Betty Crocker Frosted Chocolate Brownie Mix
  • 125grams unsalted butter, melted
  • 2 free range eggs
  • 60grams Lucky Toasted Hazelnuts, coarsely chopped
  • 500mL vanilla ice-cream, to serve

Description

Ready in just 35 minutes, this fudgy, incredibly moreish brownie-inspired dessert makes a delectable treat for Mother’s Day.

Method

Step 1 of 3

Preheat oven to 180°C/160°C fan-forced. Grease and line an 18cm (base) non-stick frying pan with baking paper.

Step 2 of 3

Following packet instructions, prepare brownie mix using butter and eggs. Pour into prepared pan. Sprinkle with half of the hazelnuts. Bake for 25 minutes or until a skewer inserted at centre comes out slightly fudgy. Cool slightly.

Step 3 of 3

Place frosting from packet in a small heatproof bowl. Microwave on high for 10 seconds or until melted. Top brownie with a little ice-cream and drizzle with a little melted frosting. Sprinkle with remaining hazelnuts. Serve with remaining ice-cream and frosting.
