- 1/2 sheet rice paper
- 2 drops red food colouring
- 3 drops yellow food colouring
- 1 lime juiced
- 30milliliter Chambord
- 30milliliter gin
- 3 hibiscus flowers in syrup, drained
Description
Bright, fresh and sweet. Try this floral ruby martini recipe for an elegant evening cocktail.
Method
Step 1 of 3
Preheat oven to 170°C/150°C fan-forced. Line a baking tray with baking paper. Place rice paper on a clean work surface and brush both sides with water. Drop red and yellow colouring on softened rice paper, then brush to cover.
Step 2 of 3
Scrunch a small piece of baking paper and place on tray. Drape rice paper over baking paper. Bake for
15 minutes or until stiff. Allow to cool completely, then carefully remove from baking paper.
Step 3 of 3
Place lime juice, Chambord and gin in a cocktail shaker half-filled with ice. Shake well. Place three hibiscus flowers in a 200ml glass. Strain cocktail mixture into glass. Serve garnished with rice paper.
