- 500grams white fish fillets, skinless, boneless, chopped into cubes
- 250grams baby octopus, cleaned and sliced
- 250grams king prawns, peeled and deveined, raw
- 5tablespoons olive oil
- 4 cloves garlic, peeled and sliced
- 1 medium onion, peeled and finely sliced
- 1 bulb fennel, finely sliced
- 1/2teaspoons fennel seeds
- 1teaspoons chilli flakes
- 1/2 cup white wine
- 400grams chopped tomatoes
Description
This fish stew is fragrant with fennel seeds and packed with tender white fish, prawns and baby octopus.
Method
Step 1 of 2
Heat the oil in a large pan on medium high heat and cook the onions and fennel for 5 minutes, stir in the garlic and fennel seeds and cook for 1 minute.
Step 2 of 2
Pour over the white wine and cook for 1 minute. Tip in the chopped tomatoes, chilli flakes and the white fish and baby octopus. Cook for 4 minutes, add the prawns and cook for 2 minutes or until the seafood is tender and cooked through.
