Method
Step 1 of 5
Place potato in a large saucepan and cover with cold water. Bring to a boil over medium-high heat. Cook for 15 minutes or until very tender. Drain.
Step 2 of 5
Return potato to saucepan over low heat. Shake pan gently for 30 seconds or until any remaining water evaporates.
Step 3 of 5
Using a potato masher, mash potato.
Step 4 of 5
Add butter and milk to potato and beat with a wooden spoon until fluffy. Season with pepper.
Step 5 of 5
Serve topped with parsley and seasoned with pepper.
