  • 1 cup desicated coconut (2 tbs reserved for garnishing)
  • 1tablespoons coconut oil, melted
  • 12 fresh dates, pitted
  • 1 pinch pink salt ground (to taste)

Method

Step 1 of 5

Place the dates in a bowl and add the melted coconut oil.

Step 2 of 5

Using your hands break down the dates into a soft paste.

Step 3 of 5

Add the remaining dry ingredients and using your hands again, combine together well.

Step 4 of 5

Wet your hands and roll into 50 cent piece balls and then roll the balls in the remaining coconut to cover.

Step 5 of 5

Shape into footballs and refrigerate until firm.
