  • 175grams short cut bacon
  • 140grams mushrooms, sliced
  • 1 cup parmesan, shaved
  • 250grams fettuccine pasta
  • 1teaspoons oil
  • 1 creamy carbonara recipe base

Method

Step 1 of 4

Cook pasta according to directions on packet; drain and keep warm.

Step 2 of 4

Heat 1 tsp oil in pan, brown bacon and mushrooms. Add combined milk, 1/2 cup (125mL) water and MAGGI Recipe Base. Bring to boil, stirring.

Step 3 of 4

Simmer for 1 minute and stir in drained pasta.

Step 4 of 4

Add the cheese and season with salt and pepper.
