Description

Love hot cinnamon donuts? Then these cinnamon sugar popovers are for you. Easy to make and no frying required – these will soon become a favourite.

Method

Step 1 of 4

Preheat oven to 225°C/205°C fan-forced. Divide 1 tsp oil among 8 holes of a 12-hole, 1/3-cup capacity muffin pan. Place pan in oven for 5 minutes or until hot.

Step 2 of 4

Place milk and eggs in a bowl and whisk until well combined. Add flour and vanilla, whisking well to combine.

Step 3 of 4

Carefully remove pan from oven. Pour batter evenly among pan holes. Bake for 25 minutes or until golden brown and well risen.

Step 4 of 4

Meanwhile, to make the cinnamon sugar, combine cinnamon and sugar in a bowl. Transfer popovers to a wire rack set over a tray. Brush with butter and sprinkle over cinnamon sugar. Serve immediately.
