Description
With a soft, gooey, fudgy centre that melts in your mouth, crinkle cookies are the ultimate festive treat. This simple 25-minute recipe will be a hit at any celebration.
Method
Step 1 of 5
In a medium bowl, combine cocoa, sugar and oil. Beat in eggs, one at a time, and mix in vanilla.
Step 2 of 5
Add flour, baking powder and a pinch of salt and mix until dough forms. Cover and refrigerate for two hours or until mixture is firm.
Step 3 of 5
Preheat oven to 180°C/160°C. Line two baking trays with baking paper.
Step 4 of 5
Remove dough from fridge and use clean hands to roll tablespoons of mixture into balls. Coat balls generously in icing sugar. Place balls on prepared trays at least 4cm apart.
Step 5 of 5
Bake for 15 minutes or until cookies are approximately 6cm in diameter. Remove from oven and allow to cool completely on trays. Serve.
