  • 400grams Mr Chen’s Hand-pulled Style Noodles
  • 1 bunch broccolini, trimmed and cut into 3cm pieces
  • 1tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 500grams Woolworths lean pork mince
  • 2 cloves garlic, crushed
  • 2centimeters piece ginger, finely grated
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1/3 cup soy sauce
  • 1tablespoons Mr Chen’s Pure Sesame Oil
  • 1/4 cup fried shallots
  • 2tablespoons Mr Chen’s Szechuan Chilli Oil, optional

Method

Step 1 of 3

Cook noodles following packet instructions. Place broccolini in a colander and drain noodles over broccolini. Heat vegetable oil in a large frying pan over high heat. Add pork mince and cook, stirring to break up any lumps, for 4-5 minutes or until browned. Add garlic and ginger, and cook for 1 minute or until heated through and combined.

Step 2 of 3

Add sugar and half of the soy, and cook for 3-4 minutes or until caramelised. Add remaining soy, 2 tbs water, noodles and broccolini. Toss together with sesame oil.

Step 3 of 3

Top with shallots and chilli oil. Serve.
