- 2 heads baby gem lettuce, washed and torn
- 80grams bacon lardons
- 100grams croutons
- 12 black olives, pitted and halved
- 1tablespoons olive oil
- 4tablespoons Caesar dressing
- 30grams hazelnuts, roasted
- 120grams chicken breast, cooked and torn
Description
A classic creamy Caesar salad with a hint of bitterness from the olives and the added crunch of nuts.
Method
Step 1 of 2
Fry the bacon lardons on a pan on a medium heat with the oil for 6 minutes or until lightly crisped. Add the torn cooked chicken to the pan and fry with the bacon for 1 minute to warm it up.
Step 2 of 2
You can combine the rest of the ingredients together in a serving bowl. Remove the bacon and chicken from the pan, drain any oil or liquid and mix in with the salad before serving.
