Description
Harissa spiced broccoli steaks are deliciously charred and smoky with an easy and hearty lentil salad.
Method
Step 1 of 4
Mix the harissa with the oil and brush on the broccoli steaks, coating well. Reserve the remaining mix and keep the offcuts of broccoli for another recipe.
Step 2 of 4
Heat a griddle pan on the highest setting and add the broccoli steaks, searing for 3-4 minutes on each side until lightly charred and softened. Add the lemons to the pan and char alongside the broccoli.
Step 3 of 4
In large bowl, combine the lentils, chopped sundried tomatoes, chopped herbs, rocket and crumbled feta. Squeeze over half the charred lemon juice.
Step 4 of 4
Divide the lentil salad between 4 plates, top each with a broccoli steak, drizzle of harissa oil and chopped pistachios. Season with more lemon juice if desired.
