Description

Tasty and easy to make, these fish pies will be an instant family favourite.

Instruction tip

Can bake these in a big dish, but I prefer to do them individually for better presentation.

Method

Step 1 of 6

Melt the butter in a small pot, add the flour all at once and stir for approx. 1 minute on low heat-don't burn it.

Step 2 of 6

Mix the cream, wine and milk together and slowly add to the butter and flour mix, stir until smooth and thick, season with salt and pepper and set aside.

Step 3 of 6

In a frypan, sauté the onion, garlic, carrot and celery in olive oil on low heat until softened and cooked right through.

Step 4 of 6

Mix the fish, dill, vegetables and sauce, divide mix between ramekins.

Step 5 of 6

Place the creamy mash on top of each ramekin and top with some parmesan cheese and chopped parsley.

Step 6 of 6

Bake in oven 160 c for about 15-18 mins or until golden, Serve piping hot with a nice salad or vegetables, enjoy!
