Description

A speedy, single-serve dessert that combines the comforting flavours of banana bread with the convenience of a mug cake. This treat will satisfy your sweet tooth in minutes.

Method

Step 1 of 4

Slice banana in half and mash one half. Cut remaining half crossways into 8-10 slices.

Step 2 of 4

Combine flour, sugar, cinnamon and baking powder in a bowl. Whisk egg, milk, oil and vanilla in a small bowl. Add mashed banana and egg mixture to flour mixture. Mix until just combined.

Step 3 of 4

Divide mixture evenly between 1-cup-capacity microwave-safe mugs or ramekins. Arrange sliced banana on top. Cook mugs, one at a time, on high for 1 minute and 20 seconds.

Step 4 of 4

Drizzle mug cakes with honey and sprinkle with pecans. Serve topped with cream.
