Slow Cooker Roast Beef with Onion & Gravy
Serves 6 | Prep 15 mins | Cooking 6 hrs (high), 10 hrs (low)
What to do
1. Heat oil in a large pan over high heat. Brown beef on all sides, then add to slow cooker with potatoes.
2. Combine 3/4 cup (180 mL) water and recipe base then pour over beef. Cover and cook for 6 hours on high or 10 hours on low (Keep covered during cooking. Cooking times may vary between slow cooker models, we used a 5.5 L appliance).
3. Serve with steamed baby carrots and peas.
