Jalapenos are chillies that offer medium heat - perfect for those after a little kick. They are traditionally enjoyed across a range of wonderful Mexican and Central American dishes from salsas and guacamole to tacos and nachos.
For a delicious hero dish, stuff and fry/bake them to make Jalapeno poppers, or if you love all things pizza, simply slice, and top before cooking to add flavour and heat to both meat and veggie favourites.
How to Store:
Best stored in the refrigerator. Do not fully cover fresh chillies to prevent condensation and encourage long life.
Freeze leftover chillies for future use: wash then pat dry with a paper towel or clean cloth then cut off the stems, slice and freeze in a container or freezer bag.
Where They're Grown:
Chillies are grown in the tropical and subtropical climates of Australia. The majority of our chillies are grown in Bundaberg in QLD, which has the ideal climate for growing chillies.
