Description

This sweet French toast with berries and orange yoghurt recipe is the perfect brunch. Sweet berries paired with creamy zesty yoghurt takes this French toast to another level.

Method

Step 1 of 5

Place the blueberries and strawberries in a bowl. Grate the rind of the oranges and reserve, then segment the oranges, catching all the juice. Add the orange segments and the juice to the berries.

Stir the orange rind into the yoghurt and chill.

Step 3 of 5

Whisk together the eggs, sugar, sesame seeds and ground cinnamon.

Step 4 of 5

Melt the butter in a frying pan over a medium heat. Dip the slices of bread into the egg mixture, place in the pan and cook for 2-3 minutes on each side, until golden.

Step 5 of 5

Serve each slice of French toast topped with fruit and a dollop of the yoghurt, with the juices poured over.
