- 10 smoked streaky bacon rashers, rind removed
- 20 pork chipolatas
Description
An essential accompaniment to roast turkey, children are often more keen on these than the roast itself.
Method
Step 1 of 3
Preheat the oven to 200°C (Gas 6). Take a bacon rasher, place it on a board, and scrape the blade of a knife along it, while pulling on its end, so the bacon stretches out. Cut each piece in half to make 20 short, thin slices.
Step 2 of 3
Wrap each chipolata in a half-piece of bacon, then put them on a baking sheet, with the ends of the bacon facing down.
Step 3 of 3
Cook in the hot oven for 20-30 minutes, turning occasionally, until the bacon is crispy and the chipolatas cooked through.
