Description
This Middle Eastern Oranges recipe is an aromatic dessert which combines zesty fruit with cinnamon, rosewater, honey, pistachio nuts, mint and pomegranate.
Method
Step 1 of 2
Slice the top and bottom from each orange and place them on a chopping board. Carefully slice off the skin and pith, leaving as much flesh as possible and following the sides of the orange so you keep the shape of the fruit. Slice the oranges thinly horizontally, discarding any pips as you come across them, then arrange the orange slices on a serving plate. Drizzle with any juice from the chopping board.
Step 2 of 2
Drizzle with the honey and rosewater and sprinkle with the cinnamon. Scatter with the pomegranate seeds and pistachio nuts (if using), then decorate with the mint leaves and serve.
