Magic Iron Baseplate Cleaner removes sticky residue from the bottom of your iron. Reducing the risk of damaging garments when ironing. Many of us have damaged a garment due to a sticky residue on our iron. Magic Iron Baseplate Cleaner dissolves deposits easily, making your iron’s baseplate clean and ready to use.

• Effectively loosens and dissolves baseplate deposits with ease.

Handy Hint: To prolong the life of your steam iron; descale your iron regularly using Magic All Purpose Descaler. This will prevent element damage caused by scale build-up.

How to Use

1. Apply a thick layer of Magic Iron Baseplate Cleaner onto the stained area of the cold baseplate.
2. Turn to wool setting and switch the iron on. Once the Magic Iron Baseplate Cleaner™ starts to sizzle, switch the iron off. DO NOT allow the cleaner to dry on the baseplate.
3. Using the attached scourer pad, rub vigourously in a circular motion until the stain disappears.
4. Wipe off excess with a damp cloth. Clean steam holes with a wet cotton bud.
5. After use, clean the scourer pad using cold water.

For Stubben Stains

1. Apply a thick layer of Magic Iron Baseplate Cleaner onto the stained area of the cold baseplate.
2. Cover with Glad Wrap (plastic Wrap)
3. And let it sit overnight or for at least 10 hours
4. Remove plastic and wipe off excess with a damp cloth. Clean steam holes with a wet cotton bud.
5. After use, clean the scourer pad using cold water.

If you apply the Iron Baseplate Cleaner™ to a hot iron base, the solvent in the product will evaporate instantly. Make sure that the iron base is only warm, not hot.

I applied the Iron Baseplate Cleaner to my iron base, and it didn’t bring off all the baked-on marks?
All of our products, including the Iron Baseplate Cleaner are manufactured without using harmful or caustic ingredients. Therefore, for really difficult baked on marks you will need to use the Iron Baseplate Cleaner in conjunction with other processes:

• Non-scratch scourer
• Applied thick on baseplate, cover with glad wrap and leave overnight.

I have just bought your tube of Iron Baseplate Cleaner and it looks like its half-empty?
There is 50g of product inside the tube. We had to make the tube the size it is to fit all directions and safety warnings on there. I assure you have got what you have paid for.
