Is your store a Priority Delivery Hub?
Tuesday, 31 March 2020
Summary
- On Monday (30 March), Woolworths announced that it will continue to scale its online delivery capacity to help meet the essential food and grocery needs of the growing number of customers in self-isolation because of COVID-19.
One of these initiatives is the transformation of a small percentage of supermarkets into Priority Delivery Hubs to get more home deliveries to ‘Priority Assistance’ customers.
Priority Delivery Hubs will operate reduced opening hours. The additional hours the store is not open to customers, will be used to pick online orders, with a focus on meeting the increased demand from ‘Priority Assistance’ customers including the elderly, people with disability, those with compromised immunity and people in mandatory isolation.
Please note that due to this change, Community Hour will no longer be available at these stores.
