Specials

We offer more than 6,000 weekly specials, including half price offers. You can find our best specials in our catalogue, available to preview online every Monday from 5pm. Weekly specials change each week, and typically run for one week from Wednesday to the following Tuesday. Specials are a short term discount off the standard shelf price. You can identify weekly specials by looking for a yellow ticket or electronic shelf label across our stores and online. On the ticket or label, you can see what the standard shelf price was compared to the ‘special’ price for that week.

We also offer Fresh Specials every week, which help our customers find value in fruit and vegetables. You can identify these by looking for a yellow ticket or electronic shelf label that say “Fresh Special” in our stores and online.

Lower Shelf Price

We're proud to introduce Lower Shelf Price, a new program which highlights products that we have lowered the shelf price on to help bring prices down and lower the cost of your groceries. Simply look out for the red Lower Shelf Price ticket in-store and online to find the products that have had their shelf price lowered.

Everyday Low Price

We have thousands of products on our Everyday Low Price program, including many of our own brand products. Everyday Low Price refers to products that are set at the same Low Price every day for several months. These are often the lowest price product or have the lowest unit price within that category or brand. When you see an Everyday Low Price red ticket or electronic shelf label across our stores and online it means that product offers a low price you can rely on, every day. As it’s already a low price, that stays low, products with a Everyday Low Price ticket don’t go on special.

Prices Dropped

For the past few years we have been running our seasonal Prices Dropped program and each season, such as Summer, Autumn, Winter, Spring, and for Christmas we reveal a new range of products that will be dropped in shelf price to help customers better manage their budgets. Each seasonal program typically includes 300-400 seasonally relevant products that remain at a ‘dropped’ price throughout the season to give our customers value on those products and help them better manage their budgets. Our seasonal prices dropped program drops the price on seasonally relevant products, essentials our customers need and products they love. As Prices Dropped offers price dependability on seasonal products, at times these products may go on a weekly special to offer a further discount for a 1 week period and then return to Prices Dropped. Our Prices Dropped products can be found across the store and online with a red Prices Dropped ticket. When we drop a standard shelf price on this program, we will also change the standard white shelf edge ticket indicating this the new regular shelf price at which the product will be sold through the season.

Everyday Rewards

If you only join one club this year, make it Woolworths’ Everyday Rewards. Signing up is free, and by scanning your Rewards card, you’ll collect points every time you shop. You’ll collect a minimum of 1 point for every dollar you spend. You can choose to redeem points by shopping in Woolworths and our partner stores, with a $10 discount for every 2000 points. Alternatively you can choose to bank your points to spend at Christmas or convert your points Everyday Rewards points into Qantas Points.
