Sydney-based team member Emily Hugget lives a busy life balancing four kids, study and her job.It’s a happy life, but it wasn’t always the case. Years ago, Emily faced homelessness and struggled to provide for her children. Thankfully, Emily was connected with the team at OzHarvest through the support of her Woolworths team. This 10 year-long partnership is one of many that Woolworths is proud to spotlight during our 100th year.

Ben Martin, Marto’s Mangoes

Marto's Mangoes, a family legacy since 1990, thrives with 30,000-plus trees. Ben Martin's dedication to quality and innovation, coupled with a 12-year partnership with Woolworths, has nurtured the farm’s growth. The award-winning farm, led by 2019’s Young Farmer of the Year, exemplifies Australian agriculture's spirit as it enters its next generation alongside Woolworths’ centennial.

Meet the Gordy family

For Rose Gordy, work is a family affair. Her mother, Ellen, sister Danielle, and niece Brooke  work with her at the Riverway Plaza store in Rasmussen, Queensland, while sister, Charlotte and niece, Kimberley work 10 minutes down the road. As Woolworths celebrates its 100th year, the Gordy family serves as a reminder of the power of togetherness – or as Danielle puts it, “That extra bit of comfort every day.”

Team member, Josh Nairn

When Product Manager Josh Nairn joined Woolworths Group’s digital arm CustomerX this year, he became part of a dedicated team who were helping rollout Woolworths’ new app feature, Watchlist. At the touch of a button, the feature allows customers to track when their favourite products are on special. Josh says he gained a deep sense of purpose in leading the team who researched, developed and delivered the game-changing feature.
