Woolworths extends its service to online to include Home Shop & Green Grocer – 1998-9

Woolworths online Fresh Food Web Site included a personalised meal planning feature allowing customer to browse 2000 delicious recipes, find practical cooking tips and dietary advice from leading nutritionist Rosemary Stanton and to register personal food preferences and dietary requirements and create shopping lists. The Home Page services were further extended when Homeshop and internet shopping service went live on 9 March 1998. The following year Woolworths extended its commitment to internet shopping when it purchased all shares in GreenGrocer.com an Internet grocery store.
