Woolworths is committed to supporting local communities, supporting a range of causes through fundraising and charitable partnerships. In 2008 the value of community contributions was $17.5 million including cash donations, fundraising time and management costs across all Woolworths businesses. A big thank you to all customers and staff for supporting these initiatives.
Our major community initiative is the Fresh Food Kids Hospital Appeal.
Woolworths also supports other children's charities with a focus on children's health support and medical research.
